Elena Bondareva stood at a Moscow intersection at thirteen years old and watched a country collapse. Her college-professor parents were bartering on street corners. Everything she knew about value, security, and prosperity had just been stripped away. That moment became the seed for a career that has now spanned more than two decades, twenty ventures, and six countries. Elena is the Founder and CEO of Vivit Worldwide, a transformation and sustainability advisory practice. She holds a B.S. and M.A. from Cornell University, is a PhD candidate studying social change at RMIT, and is the author of the Changemaker's Handbook. She has helped establish four Green Building Councils, served on the COVID-19 Taskforce of the International WELL Building Institute, and currently advises Power Ledger, a blockchain platform accelerating the clean-energy transition.
